Gospel for Sunday June 14, 2026 – Matthew 9:36—10:8

 At the sight of the crowds, Jesus’ heart was moved with pity for them
because they were troubled and abandoned,
like sheep without a shepherd.
Then he said to his disciples,
“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;
so ask the master of the harvest
to send out laborers for his harvest.”

Then he summoned his twelve disciples
and gave them authority over unclean spirits
to drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness.
The names of the twelve apostles are these:
first, Simon called Peter, and his brother Andrew;
James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax collector;
James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus;
Simon from Cana, and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him.

Jesus sent out these twelve after instructing them thus,
“Do not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town.
Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons.
Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.”

Message from the Heart of God, Volume II, January 19, 1995

My disciples are honored in heaven by my heavenly court of angels and saints. For each of you is a place setting at the banquet of my Heavenly Father. For each one of you has a special place been reserved. Remember, great is the reward and consolation for all those who persevere. Let me assure you that all those who come home to heaven are without possessions, for they have learned to relinquish their earthly possessions and be only attached to me.

Remember, children, place your desire for the Kingdom of God first, and everything you need shall be granted you. When the time comes for each of you to put aside his cross you shall find yourselves in my loving embrace.

Do not be discouraged, my disciples. I, the Lord, shall always help you. All those who know me in their hearts and desire to follow me are my disciples.

Evangelio del domingo, 14 de junio de 2026.  Mateo 9, 36-10,8

En aquel tiempo, al ver Jesús a las multitudes, se compadecía de ellas, porque estaban extenuadas y desamparadas, como ovejas sin pastor. Entonces dijo a sus discípulos: “La cosecha es mucha y los trabajadores, pocos. Rueguen, por lo tanto, al dueño de la mies que envíe trabajadores a sus campos”.

Después, llamando a sus doce discípulos, les dio poder para expulsar a los espíritus impuros y curar toda clase de enfermedades y dolencias.

Éstos son los nombres de los doce apóstoles: el primero de todos, Simón, llamado Pedro, y su hermano Andrés; Santiago y su hermano Juan, hijos de Zebedeo; Felipe y Bartolomé; Tomás y Mateo, el publicano; Santiago, hijo de Alfeo, y Tadeo; Simón, el cananeo, y Judas Iscariote, que fue el traidor.

A estos doce los envió Jesús con estas instrucciones: “No vayan a tierra de paganos ni entren en ciudades de samaritanos. Vayan más bien en busca de las ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel. Vayan y proclamen por el camino que ya se acerca el Reino de los cielos. Curen a los leprosos y demás enfermos; resuciten a los muertos y echen fuera a los demonios. Gratuitamente han recibido este poder; ejérzanlo, pues, gratuitamente”.

Mis discípulos son honrados en el cielo por mi corte celestial de ángeles y santos. Ya que cada uno de ustedes tiene un lugar en el banquete de mi Padre Celestial. Por cada uno de ustedes un lugar especial ha sido reservado.  Acuérdense, grande es la recompensa y la consolación para aquellos que perseveran.  Déjame asegurarte que todos aquellos que vienen a casa, al cielo, no tienen posesiones ya que ellos han aprendido a renunciar a sus posesiones terrestres y a estar solo unidos a mí.

Acuérdense, hijos, pongan en primero su deseo por el Reino de Dios, y todo lo que necesiten les será concedido. Cuando sea el tiempo para que cada uno de ustedes dejen de lado sus cruces, ustedes se encontrarán en mi amoroso abrazo.

No se desanimen, mis discípulos. Yo, el Señor, siempre los ayudaré. Todos los que me conocen en sus corazones y desean seguirme son mis discípulos.
