Jn 20:19-31 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe.” Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” Now, Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that through this belief you may have life in his name.

December 19, 1995 Lord Jesus, do you want to write? My beloved children, I am the God of your Fathers, from Everlasting to Everlasting, I AM. Beloved ones, many of you are placing a great emphasis on signs. This is dangerous as it gives the evil one more opportunities to confront you. I am a God of the heart, children. I am a God who desires faith and loyalty. Blessed are those who believe in me yet do not see. I, the Lord, wean each of you from my breast of love. I nurse you as a mother nurses her newborn. But then, my beloved ones, you are weaned from my breast. This does not mean I love you any less. On the contrary, my children, I am giving you the grace to feed yourselves from the holy food I provide you. When you become as toddlers spiritually, it is because I have increased my gifts. I have sent the heavenly manna but it is up to you to eat it. It is often at this stage that many of you feel forsaken by me. I do not change. Will a mighty tree uproot itself and find another dwelling place? When I led the Israelites out of Egypt and their captivity I nursed all of them as tender newborns. I provided many signs that they would accept me as the one, true, eternal God. But then, when I left them to be toddlers, they abandoned me. They waited for more signs and wonders but I, the Lord, held them back. Do not be as they were, my children. Be patient and wait upon my answer in every situation. Is the sun rising and setting more faithful than I am? Do not give the evil one an opportunity to place a cloak of signs and wonders about you. Understand that as you grow in faith, many times signs from me will decrease. It is because I desire your faith to increase. I desire for you to unite your heart to mine. Must you see my heart to do this? Again, I repeat what I have said, “Blessed are those who believe yet do not see.” Thank you, children, for recording my words. I bless you all. Go in peace.
